KC & Jeff Lovell, Four Wall Farmers
KC is the owner , principle grower, recipe creator, and chef of Jeff's heart. Jeff is the systems manager, muscles, and moral support. When not wearing his coveralls and cape, he has an alternate identity in the information technologies field as a network administrator.
How Did It Start?
Four Wall Farm is our COVID miracle. An unexpected layoff created the opportunity to reinvent the world, and two loves were combined: growing, and food. Knowing next to nothing about mushrooms, other than loving to eat them, KC started reading,,,,and researching, and attending youtube classes. The most interesting thing she has learned is that she has so much more to learn!
What is an Urban Style Farm
Our vertical indor farm allows us to grow many varieties of mushrooms in the smallest possible footprint while using the fewest amount of resources. Instead of acres and acres of open land we produce in fewer than 1000 sq ft.
